We want every article on Blogs Wizards to be accurate, and every tutorial to work. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
How to report an error
Email team@blogswizards.net with “Correction” in the subject line, the link to the article, and what you believe is wrong. For a tutorial that didn’t work, tell us your WordPress version and the theme or plugin version you used. A link to a source that shows the correct information helps us act quickly.
We aim to review every report within 2 business days.
What we do
- Factual errors (a wrong price, feature, step, name or date): we correct the article and add a note at the end: “Correction, [date]: An earlier version of this article said X. It is Y.”
- Broken or wrong links: we fix them without a note.
- Spelling, grammar and formatting: we fix them without a note.
- An article that is wrong at its core: we correct it prominently at the top, or remove it and explain why at the same address.
We do not quietly change facts. If the substance of an article changes, the note says what changed.
Updates are not corrections
When a new version of WordPress, a theme or a plugin changes how something works, we update the article and mark it as an update, with the date. See our Editorial Standards.
