Blogs Wizards helps people build and run WordPress sites: step-by-step tutorials, fixes for common errors, and honest reviews and comparisons of themes, page builders, plugins and hosting. We write for bloggers, small business owners, freelancers and agencies, from a first blog to a site that earns.

How we make our articles

We work from official sources: WordPress.org documentation, the developer’s own documentation, pricing pages and changelogs, and the published research behind any statistic we quote. Articles link to the sources their facts come from, so you can check them yourself, and say which version of WordPress, a theme or a plugin the steps apply to.

Many of our articles are drafted with the help of AI writing tools, working from those sources. Before anything is published, automated checks look for problems that AI tools are known for: links to pages that were not among the sources, link text that names something the linked page is not about, and quotation marks around words that do not appear in the sources. Articles marked “Reviewed by” were read and checked by our editor before publication. Illustrations in articles drafted this way are AI-generated unless a credit says otherwise; screenshots are of the real product.

How we are funded

Blogs Wizards is run and paid for by Astute Solutions. In future it may also show advertising, and some articles may contain affiliate links: if you buy a theme, plugin or hosting plan through one of those links we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Neither advertising nor affiliate links decide what we recommend, and articles containing affiliate links say so.
